- 1 part Dubonnet
- 3 drops Angostura bitters
- 4 parts Champagne
- 1 Lemon
- 5 Ice cubes
- 1 Sugar cube
Instructions
- This cocktail was created in Paris in 1931 especially for the deposed Spanish King Alfonso XIII who was exiled in France. Add the angostura bitters and sugar lump to a frosted wine glass. Next add the ice cubes, Dubonnet and finally the Champagne. Squeeze the juice of a lemon on top and discard the husk then raise a glass for your lost kingdom!
