- 1 1/2 parts Whisky
- 1 part Martini rosso (sweet)
- dash of Angostura bitters
- 1 Lemon rind
- 2 Maraschino cherry
Instructions
- Coat the glass with the bitters.
Shake the rest of the ingredients with cracked ice. Strain and pour into a cocktail glass.

This is an excellent drink, not as ‘heavy’ as a Manhattan, but somewhat similar. The maraschino cherry juice adds a lot of flavor. Had one recently with only a SLICE of lemon in it, and it was terrible.
