Caipiroska (realone) Cocktail
Muddle the brown sugar into the lime wedges in an old-fashioned glass. Fill the glass with ice cubes. Pour the vodka into the glass. Stir well.

I use cachacca not vodka and either gomme or caster sugar. It needs to be served in crushed ice
To be honest this is not the greatest way to serve a caipiroska. In Brazil it is served with icing sugar NOT brown sugar and it is imperative to use crushed ice to get the right consistency . . other wise serve as above and enjoy for the ultimate in bar lounging
We drank this all the time in Rome. Beautifuly sweet. Tastes identical to a great lime cheesecake.
