  • Any spirit poured over ice is simply known as a frappe and, contrary to popular belief you dont add egg white, sugar or anything else. Amaretto was traditionally served over crushed ice in a champagne saucer until those glasses became harder to find. More commonly rocks are used. If you can get a saucer then serve with a cocktail cherry.
