In a sturdy glass, add sugar syrup ( or, better, a tablespoon of "Baker's Sugar" - it is extra fine and dissolves easily), 5 or 6 fresh mint leaves, and the juice of one fresh lime. Muddle the mint leaves in the mixture. Add spiced rum and a good amount of small ice cubes. Stir. Then add cranberry juice. Stir again. Pour into a tall "chimney" glass. Top off with soda water. Drizzle Alize over the top. Add a sprig of mint for decoration. Enjoy a great summer drink!!
