It was while drinking martinis at Peabody hotel in Memphis on a girl's night out that the idea to hand paint glassware first came to Lolita.
As an ex-DKNY designer, she started out hand painting each of the designs herself in the basement studio of her home, and in 2000 the 'Love my Martini' TM collection – a set of unique glasses, each inspired by a different cocktail recipe – was introduced.
The original Lolita designs are now reproduced by hand using food grade non-toxic paint (requiring hand washing) and come distinctively packaged in beautiful gift boxes.
