INSTRUCTIONS

Combine Thai tea (i.e., the powder), boiling water, and sweetened condensed milk, stir until blended. Pour into 2 tall glasses filled with ice cubes. Garnish with mint leaves. Makes 2 servings.

1/2 cup Hot water
2 tsp. Condensed milk

Thai tea is nearly impossible to recreate here in the UK. Firstly, Thai tea is a red tea that is very hard to find, and has a certain affinity with sweetened condense milk. Secondly, this is a cool drink best served on a hot day, especially after a spicy curry. It's a drink to savor when you visit thailand, but not one to make at home, especially those who hate sugar in their tea.
